I received this great email over the weekend and wanted to share. I was up photographing my cousin Dustin's graduation from UMaine a few weekends ago. I was not there as the school photographer (formal diploma shots) but just taking candids for my family. The daughter of the family infront of us was seated in the back section of the graduates (they don't sit alphabetically) so her parents weren't able to get any shots of her with her fellow grads. I snapped a few photos for them and sent them off last weekend. Here's the sweet email the family sent me...
Brittany,
I can not tell you how much we have all enjoyed the beautiful photo's you took at the Graduation. I may use a picture of Judi standing as her 'official' graduation photo. I think the candidness of her joy will beat the posed formal shot.
It was so kind of you to take the time to edit and post them on your website.
I wish you the best in your photography work and appreciate the knack you have for capturing a beautiful moment.
Thank you again,
Terri
